BE`UAME: multi-vendor clothing marketplace on PrestaShop
Clothing marketplace on PrestaShop with the Knowband Marketplace module: sellers, personal accounts, product moderation, commissions, seller windows and multilingual.
Task and context
The project was carried out for the market:Romania. This is important for the Zen Webmaster portfolio: the experience covers not only France, but also different countries, languages, payment scenarios, CMS and user expectations.
Clothing marketplace on PrestaShop with the Knowband Marketplace module: sellers, personal accounts, product moderation, commissions, seller windows and multilingual.
- Registration of sellers through a separate form (“Deveniți un seller”) and the seller’s personal account (Seller Dashboard) for independent management of goods and orders
- Uploading and editing of goods by sellers, moderation/approval by the administrator
- Dividing orders by seller for multi-vendor purchases, separate notifications to each seller
- Setting up payment systems to accept payments on the marketplace
- Setting up platform commission on sales
- Separate storefronts/pages of sellers on the website
- Multilingual interface (setting up translation of the front and seller’s personal account into Romanian and Ukrainian languages)
- Basic catalog setup: categories (women’s, men’s, children’s, shoes, accessories), product cards, filters
What does this case show?
Technical base
The work was carried out on the platform: PrestaShop, Knowband Marketplace module, Movic theme. The focus was on stability, support and the ability to develop the site further.
Practical result
The case is useful as an example of work in the format: technical support and development of an existing website (not our own development from scratch). This is not only the launch, but also maintenance, development or complex technical modifications.
